The STIGA PR 730 C (10″) pruning chainsaw is a lightweight and well-balanced machine powered by a 26.9 cc (0.7 kW) motor. The single top handle allows you to comfortably reach the highest branches, as well as operate the chainsaw with just one hand. The robust 25 cm (10″) carving bar has been designed for optimum cutting precision. Other features include an adjustable automatic oil pump, lateral tensioning screw and spring VCS system that noticeably reduces vibrations felt in the user’s hands. Its compact design and special carrying hook make it particularly suitable for experienced operators completing arboriculture tasks. WARNING: This chain-saw is for use by trained tree service operators only. Use without proper training can result in severe injuries.

Compensator
This controller in the carburettor prevents the fuel-air mixture getting richer as the air filter becomes clogged. The correct quantity of fuel is delivered to the carburettor depending on the quantity of air passing through the air filter. This keeps the fuel/air ratio in the combustion mixture constant and hence also the engine power. The filter doesn’t need to be cleaned until an appreciable drop in power occurs.
Manual fuel pump (Purger)
A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required following extended breaks in operations.
Single-lever master control
All important functions such as start, choke, throttle and stop are operated via a single lever.

A genuine advance in easy starting. STIHL ErgoStart (E) cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just one third of the normal force. All it takes is 2 fingers and a gentle pull action.
