Functional design
The engine housing has smooth surfaces and round contours. This prevents the tool from getting caught on branches. The hedge trimmers are easy to clean.
Innovative cutting system
The blade shape has been optimised to catch branches and hold them against the blade during the cut and serves as an integrated blade guard.
Blade tip protector
The tip protector comes fitted as standard and makes cutting near the ground or along walls easier, whilst helping to protect the cutters from damage.
Scabbard

AP 100
Compatible with the STIHL cordless power system. Light weight 36v Lithium-Ion PRO battery with charge level indicator (four LEDs). 94 Wh battery energy, weight 0.8 kg. Compatible with all AL chargers; AL 101, AL 300 and AL 500.
AP 200
36 V, 4.8 ah Lithium-Ion battery. The AP 200 offers excellent run times on our cordless tools. The battery has an integrated LED charge indicator, clearly displaying as and when the battery needs charging. Compatible with the AL 101, AL 300 and AL 500 charger unit.
AP 300
Powerful 36 V, 6.0 ah Lithium-Ion battery. The AP 300 is STIHL’s most powerful handheld battery, offering increased run times for those bigger jobs. The battery has an integrated LED charge indicator, clearly displaying as and when the battery needs charging. Compatible with the AL 101, AL 300 and AL 500 charger unit.
AR 1000 backpack battery
Lithium-Ion backpack battery with a large capacity for longer running times. Designed to work with the PRO cordless system. AR 2000 backpack battery
The AR 2000 is a high capacity Lithium-Ion backpack battery built for comfort. The high capacity and energy content will give you plenty of run time to power your PRO cordless tools Sturdy housing with base and charge level indicator (six LEDs), comfortable and ergonomic harness with integrated carry handle and rain protection cover. 916 Wh battery energy, weight 7.8 kg.
AR 3000 backpack battery
Highest capacity Lithium-Ion backpack battery (1148 Wh) for longer running times. With a six LED charge level indicator, you will always know how much time you have left before needing to re-charge the unit. Sturdy housing with integrated carry handle and comfortable harness with lap belt and central buckle. Connection cable with plug and AP adapter for use with PRO cordless tools. Ideally suited to those bigger jobs, especially in more noise sensitive areas.
AL 101 charger
230 V charger compatible with STIHL AP and AK batteries. With operating mode indicator (LED) and passive battery cooling. Cable tie with Velcro strap. The charger can be wall mounted if required
AL 300 Quick charger
Quick charger for STIHL Lithium-ion batteries. With operating mode indicator and active battery cooling. The quick charger will fully charge an AP 100 battery in 50 minutes, AP 200 in 55 minutes and AP 300 in 75 minutes
AL 500 Hi-speed charger
The quickest charger for STIHL Lithium-ion batteries. With operating mode indicator and active battery cooling. The quick charger will fully charge all the AP (Lithium-Ion PRO) batteries in 35 minutes. The AL 500 is highly recommended to charge the AR 2000 (130 min) and AR 3000 (160 min) backpack batteries
Battery belt with harness
Sturdy and ergonomically shaped belt with comfortable harness for weight distribution across hips and shoulders. Reduced total weight in the hand, as the battery in the AP holster with connecting cable is worn on the belt. Power is transmitted in combination with additional accessories, such as by the AP holster with connecting cable for tools with a socket, and additionally with an AP adapter for tools with a battery slot
