Kilworth Green Climber LV800 Remote Control Mower
The Green Climber range of remote controlled power units are manufactured by MDB in Italy to a very high standard and are designed for hard use in commercial applications. New models are constantly under development. Currently there are 4 models within the range from 23HP up to 75 HP. The key benefit of remote controlled power units is safety of the operator. The Green Climber will traverse terrain that would be inaccessible to conventional driven machinery and should the worse happen, the operator remains safe
The Green Climber LV800 is currently the largest model in the Green Climber range. It is powered by a Kohler 4 cylinder intercooled turbo diesel engine which generates 75HP and, more importantly, 300Nm of torque. The engine has been specially developed for working on slopes and allows the LV600 to operate on slopes up to 60 degrees. Stability is ensured by rubber tracks which are hydraulically expandable from 1500mm to 1900mm wide.
Engine cooling is by means of a self cleaning “Cleanfix” reversible fan system which automatically keeps the radiator and grill clear to prevent overheating.
The hydrostatic transmission components are sourced from Poclain and Linde so top quality is assured.
A heavy duty flail mower is the standard fitment. The mower is designed and built for constant use in harsh conditions and has 400mm of hydraulic side shift to assist with cutting up close to trees and fencing. Swinging hammer and fixed tooth forestry mulchers are also available, along with power harrows, rotavators, shovels, trenchers, snow ploughs, sweepers and hedge cutters.
