A perfectly balanced battery-powered tool.
The EGO BCX3800 features a 2kw motor that offers you the power of an equivalent petrol motor without all the noise and fumes. It has compatibility with all EGO 56-volt batteries (backpack battery recommended, sold separately).
The cutting width with a line trimmer head is 38 cm while the cutting width with a three-sided blade is 30 cm. This allows you to get your garden maintenance done in no time. The Ego BCX3800 has a constant cutting speed which allows for easy operation.
The bike handle makes it comfortable, yet easy to grip maintaining maximum safety while in operation.
The shaft is made of carbon fibre which reduces vibration levels and ensures the long term health of the operator. Combined with the weight of only 6.5 kg, which is held up by the EGO Double Shoulder harness (not included). Using the EGO BCX3800 for extended periods no problem.

STIHL FS 50 C-E Grass Trimmer
Reduced-emission engine technology
2-stroke engine with stratified charge. A fuel-free layer of air is created between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase, reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This results in more power with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions.

STIHL ErgoStart (E)
STIHL ErgoStart cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just one third of the normal force. A coil spring between the starter cord and the crankshaft smoothes out force peaks, making them virtually undetectable through the cord itself.
Simplified starting system
Simply set the choke, pump the fuel primer, pull the starter cord and away you go! The running machine then switches off after a brief press of the stop button. Once the machine is at a standstill, the ignition activates again automatically. Thus the ignition is always ready for starting.
