ATCO CLIPPER 16
For the finest of lawns, you need the ATCO Clipper 16, nothing beats the finish achieved by a traditional cylinder mower. The Clipper 16 is one of three cylinder mowers in the ATCO range.
At the heart of this mower is the cutting cylinder. The Clipper 16 has a cylinder with 6 steel blades which produces 113 cuts per metre. These cuts are immaculate and ensures no damage to the grass which means the grass will remain healthy and resilient to disease.
Available cutting heights range from 7 mm to 30 mm, accessed from a single control point allowing for variable adjustment within each range.
Fitted with a recoil start Briggs & Stratton 4-stroke engine, with power drive and a centrifugal clutch. Also included is a self-propelled drive system makes this mower easy to use and require less effort from the operator. The included variable forward speed feature, controlled by the throttle means the mowers speed can be adjusted to perfectly fit the user’s needs. The mower comes fitted with a 51 litre collector for all of your grass clippings. Ensuring you get the lawn you want without all the extra effort.
The split steel roller and 40 cm cutting width offer precision and manoeuvrability allowing you to navigate your lawn with ease. This ends up leaving your lawn with that classical striped ATCO finish.

Self-propelled

Vario self-drive
The Vario self-propulsion enables individual adaptation of the speed of the STIHL lawn mower to personal mowing habits and lawn conditions. The mowing speed can be infinitely varied using the control lever on the handlebar.
Highlift blade
The highlift blade gives a precise finish to the lawn and ensures optimal filling of the grass catcher box. The blade creates a strong air current in the housing, which makes the grass stand upright before cutting and efficiently carries the clippings into the catcher box using an integrated and powerful air flow system.

The plastic grass catcher box can be easily opened and emptied thanks to its folding mechanism. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures a high degree of filling. Thanks to the downward-facing vanes, the air is guided sideways towards the ground, preventing dirt from being thrown up. The level indicator signals the correct time for emptying. The airflow generated by the blade raises the level indicator. When the basket is full, the airflow stops. If the airflow is too low, the level indicator returns to its idle state and this is an indication to empty the catcher box. Optimal airflow is required in order for the level indicator to function fully. External influences such as wet, dense or tall grass, a low cutting height, contamination, etc. may affect the airflow and the performance of the level indicator.

The smooth running wheels of the STIHL lawn mowers are extremely robust and hard-wearing. They have been equipped with a traction pattern and directional stability tread pattern for effortless manoeuvring and to help hold perfect line during mowing.
Carrying handles
